 Post subject: Campaign: Icy Conquest Part2

Im confused about how things exist on this one.......

I start out with 2 capitals: Rogeria & Campburgia.

The enemy starts out with 3 capitals: Moscowgradia, Beerland & Nova Polska.

I generate ZERO revenues until I clear out Campburgia.
From that point forward, Camburgia is the only source I have for recruitment.

Meanwhile, the enemy generates recruitments from TWO capitals of Moscowgradia & Beerland.

[1]Why doesnt my capital [which is & always has been under my control] gemerate recruitment like the enemies Moscowgradia does?

[2]How is it that the enemies two capitals magage to generate Ostrichs each turn? These are 7 hit point units that must cost $!

Im quickly out numbered & out gunned by higher HP units......

I had a similar experience where I started the campaign on the version straight out of the box and then installed the patch and attempted to carry on with the same campaign.

In the end I just started the campaign again and it sorted itself out. Actually I learnt a lot about the game trying to win that particular scenario without realising it wasn't supposed to be that difficult!

In summary:

Install the latest patch and then restart the campaign.

Not always a good idea. "Latest patch" wrecks single-player, but fixes multi-player. Patch v1.191 seems to fix several of the SINGLE PLAYER CAMPAIGN problems.

I had downloaded a new patch, and the campaigns started saying "Game appears to be broken". Did some searching, and found a post that said go backwards to patch version 1.191. I tried this, and have now been able to complete two missions that used to crash.
