Mentioned thhis to Tiger a while ago but never got round to posting it, this is also based on the Totala Huge war they ran.

Basically u have a huge galaxy map equally split at the start between PL/FNU.

Then every week planets along the border would become battle planets. Players could challenge people on these planet(by clicking the planet) then the game would be put towards taht planet with the victor giving the side they played 1 point on that planet. After a set ammount of time the side with the most wins gains taht planet and then the border moves and mroe planets become the battle planets. This would make most friendly games have some effect on the main war. Obviously the fact that it takes more time to play a ma game than a totala game would need to be taken into account.

Another idea could be to have random planets selected then wars fought on them when the pl/fnu disclose allies (keeping it inline with how the game is designed)

I donno wether this idea is fesable and how hard it would be to code

There's also the problem that the FNU has a bit of a disadvantage, so it's almost certain to lose in the long run.

taht might encourage the better plaeyrs to play fnu more often to try and keep them from losing the war etc..
