If any of you have passed by looking at the clan war, I'd recommend taking another look. After 3 weeks, we are getting even more tools and tricks to make it a lot easier to increase our enjoyment and fun. We are moving more and more towards making the Clan War automated... a game in itself. Here are some things that have been developed:
1) A clan battle selection interface which allows a clan to have all the tools a clan war planner needs to assign battles:

This nifty interface gives clan planners the map, battle control and a player assignment interface in one page using frames. It generates the appropriate email to send the plans to the war administration.
2) A program which reads a simple text file and generates the current map in JPG form:

This has made it a snap to update what is currently happening in the war, and give a quick overview of who owns what, and who is attacking who.
3) Last but not least, we have been given access to the tournament manager, so that all people can watch the status of current games with a similar interface to how you can view the First Individual Tournament.

This has not been implemented quite yet, but it should be next week.
We also plan in the future to fully automate the interface of selecting battles based on the current rule set. Thus clan planners will be able to focus entirely on the level of strategy a clan war can give.
Thanks to all those that have spent many hours managing this tournament so that it could be such a success! And thanks to the developers to giving us so much support!
Come join in the fun! Find some friends and form another clan, or find an existing clan and hop on in! If you don't feel ready for this epic war, start with the Little Clan War, which will be starting soon.
