| Post subject: | First Massive Assault Clan formed |
I hereby announce that MortonHQ, Magistr Honna, Brashen, and I have formed a clan. We will be known as The New World Order. As far as I know, this is the first Massive Assault clan. I hope others follow our lead and form clans of their own. We believe this will help the Massive Assault community, and add some additional friendly competition. The benefits of a clan based system are many. First of all, it will allow the clan members to collaborate together when to play some interclan games, and allows us to have a forum of discussion about the game where we can get to know some of the other players. In the future, as other clans are formed, we will be able to have clan tournaments. It also increases the Massive Assault community, and hopefully will draw others to this game, and keep those who have started interested. This is the purpose of The New World Order. We are a few players that want to see Massive Assault succeed, and will do everything in our power to support the Developers in this endeavor. The New World Order has deliberately been kept small to begin with, as we want other players to form other clans. As the clan system is established, we will accept other members. We will also be building a fan/clan web site. |

I agree that clans can help all of our skills improve as we have a friendly environment with some good teachers. Our clan would like to see some other clans formed first before we start accepting other players. We will accept other players once this has happened. And no, we don't have all the best players  . We have a General and three Majors. There are plenty other Generals and Colonels (not to mention Mr. Marshall himself) that can form a solid core for other clans. And theres nothing that says the Devs can't join clans too.

I would just like to say that I'm proud to be a member of the New World Order and that I look forward to participating in the destruction of all other clans. To The Guardians of Traditions - Whenever you're ready guys, bring it on! To Conqueror - If you want a couple of games challenge away. To everyone else - Come on guys, pull yourselves together. p.s. if you use ICQ or MSN I suggest you add your number/address to your profile so that other players can contact you. Can I also suggets that one of the Devs post a new sticky topic advertising the clan system. Hopefully, individual players would use the same topic to record their interest and maybe get some more clans formed. |

MortonHQ's lucky that he can still beat the snot out of me in a game, or I'd be all over him for that little remark
To Conqueror: Trust me, we're not trying to make a elite system here, we're just trying to let the clan idea gain some weight before taking all the available people. This clan system won't work if there are only a couple clans... the more there are the more exciting and competitive (and in my mind competitive=fun) the game will be. So the plan is to let other people form some clans, and get this whole system rolling. Once there are several clans established, we're going to be recruiting like mad. So for now, post here that you're interested in joining a clan - http://massiveassault.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=447, and you'll be the first we'll look at if you haven't joined any other clan by then. Please don't get discouraged! We just would like to see this idea get off the ground, and need your help to do it. And thanks to those (lola, Catlynn, DryFire, grtbrt, and yes, even our arch-nemesis "Guardians of Tradition") who have discussed about or formed clans so far. I think this will be awesome once it's well established! And whoever else reads this, if you think it would be fun at all, post at the forum I just listed, and let us know! |

I wanted to announce that we have just added a new member to the New World Order. Conqueror has joined the ranks. We are holding true to our promise of allowing newer as well as more experienced players to participate in the clan system, as new players are the life blood of this game. We hope other clans will do so as well. |
