I like RTS strategy games: TA, Warzone 2100, Dark Reign 2, Stronghold, Konan. I like turn-based strategy also: Civ III, Risk II. I like turn-based SF strategy games the best: Battle Isle Androsia War. I like racing games that are closer to arcade than simulation: NFS III, NFSPorsche 2000, Nascar 2002 (a little to simulation). I like beer & pretzel games: Moonbase Commander, Gene Rally (Cute top down freeware racing game). I don't like Fantasy games like Age of Wonders, Warlords. Currently my favorite games in order are: 1. Massive Assault / Titans of Steel Warring Suns (Tie) 2. Hostile Waters (Very unique 1st person strategy shooter). But I just found an unknown European beer & pretzel racing game that is a hoot. It is kickass! It was released November 28. It is like a car racing version of Rollycoaster Tycoon. I downloaded the demo, played about 30 minutes and now I'm going to Akihabara in Tokyo to see if I can find the full version. If I can't find it I will order it online. i can name alot of good turn-based SF strategy games but battle-isle -andosia wars by my opinion is one of the worst why would you name such a crap "the best" have you seen battle-isle-3-Shadow of Emperor? |

I meant that I liked turn-based strategy the best. I just gave Battle Isle 4 as an example. Actually it took too much time to move all the units and transport from island to island. It was very difficule to keep track of. I've never seen Battle Isle III - Shadow of the Emperor but I just fond an old review of it. I'll read it. My favorite turn-based are MA and Titans of Steel Warring Suns. |

I'm gonna have to take a good look at hostile waters i eed a new fps to tide me over till AAO's new patchor tehy fix the server problems. |
