So I downloaded the demo and am definitely addicted, but now that I've played it all out, I want more... but can't get it.

Stopped at 3 stores locally over lunch, and none had it (Software Etc. mentioned the recall problem, also not at Best Buy nor CompUSA).

So the question is, what is my quickest option for getting this game?

Amazon.com has it, via J&R Music World, for only $35 with shipping, but their estimated ship date isn't until March 9th.

EBgames.com does not appear to carry it at all (!).

I see I can order it from massiveassault.com for $40 with free shipping, but will this go out right away, or are you still waiting for fixed copies from the US distributor?

I would guess this is my best bet?

You don't have electronic distribution (I don't care about a CD, just a key to play it; I can burn my own CD), do you?

Jonesing for a MA fix!!!!

P.S. I think y'all should definitely thank Penny Arcade. I know they are the reason I heard about this game, and I know others are in the same boat.

Yep, my taste in games is incredibly similar to that of Tycho's, I have found, and when he raves as much about a game as he did about Massive Assault, I make a point to check it out. ;)

That's why I am here, an' lovin' it!

Those guys sure know how to pick out the good independent games. I'd never heard of this one until it got mentioned on pa.

I've never been disappointed with a game that Tycho recommended. It's like having my own personal game reviewer.

He even thought MOO3 was a good game like I did. There are very few of us, I think.

As I said to Tycho in an email, MOO3 is the best Empire-builder strategy game ever made.

All the stuff about MOO1, MOO2, and Civ that got annoying late-game was completely phased out in MOO3, the only thing it really needs is some tweaks to race balance (unlike the race balance mod that just shifts the hideous balance from the Evons to the gasbags. . .) and an AI upgrade and it's the best game ever. ;)

That's a good idea.

We have two shipping centers - in the US and Europe and they both have enough copies in stock. And they send out the orders very soon (delays may occure only during the weekends except for weekends and holidays)

yeah, I've convinced a friend to buy it here in Toronto, just the EBGames I got if from is out, the next one is out, and the staff said its discontinued!

I bought it for 35 CAD so he won't buy it for 50 bucks plus shipping from Amazon or from the US.

Considering the mention on PA, and word of mouth getting around slowly, I'd say the publisher should ship another round.
