Is there a way to play with the AI on planets other than Emerald? I tried playing with real people but it kills me to wait for their turn!  Besides I play mostly at work (shh! don't tell my boss!  ) and I can't have the game open at all times.  On the other hand I always win against the AI on Emerald, so it's kinda getting boring. I was thinking that if it were possible to play with the AI on other planets it might make it interesting again.

Yes, it's possible. Just buy "Massive Assault", boxed game. |

Boxed-version MA, which can be found on http://www.massiveassault.com/purchase.php, lets you play all the maps except Crateus against the AI. However, don't expect it to do any better than it does on Emerald. |

altho this means that the new maps that rn't designed for MA are multiplayer only. (eg Craterous) |
