I just installed the 209 patch and I've been having some problems with it. First of all, the colors are, well, different. The waves don't lap at the shore, everything seems darker and over-saturated. Plus, the gamma slider doesn't seem to work for me.

Secondly, whenever a unit is in a base, the base itself is overly transparent, almost to the point of invisibility.

Thirdly, when artillery units fire, their missile(s) look as if they're hitting an adjacent hex to what they're actually firing at. They'll still do the appropriate amount of damage, but the missiles don't visually hit the target.

At this point I've reverted to the 2.205 patch by reinstalling.
Want to make sure this isn't just me.

Thanks!

I noticed that with a rocket launcher, the missles hit the space next to the target. I'm gonna play with 209 a bit longer. If it starts crashing and hanging like 207, then I'll go back to 205.

209 seems more stable by far than 207 was, but I've noticed the same exact graphics issues that Bolgard posted. During my turn, my cities are transparent to the point where I can barely see the outline, and I've noticed that odd issue with both rocket launchers and mortars - when they fire at a target they appear to hit the unit in front of the target (even though the targeted unit takes damage or dies normally). Haven't tested this with turrets yet, but it seems to happen with fire directed at targets more than one space away.

Haven't had any problems with planes randomly appearing like in 207, and no lockups or CTD yet. The graphics issues are new, at least in my experience.
