I'm traveling and am connected to the internet via DSL at my hotel, but I cannot connect to the MAN server. I saw a previous post stating that 6005 and 6543 port for outgoing TCP connection were required, but they are not blocked by the dsl provider. Any suggestion? |

Is it blocked by yourself? Software firewall? Firewall in your DSL box? |

I'm not sure what would cause a block, I don't have a firewall installed. Anyone know what could be wrong. In the past it worked on this computer, but I had it in for tech support and they may have changed settings. Being the geek I am, I have a second laptop with me. i plan on installing MAN tonight and see if it works. Thanks, |

What OS? If you have Win XP with SP2, you might need to disable internet connection firewall. |

Thanks for the suggestion - it is xp. I will give it a try. (as a note, it did not work on my other laptop either) |
