I think Ostrich is still better than Locust
It also resembles Storm Crow(? 55ton clan design) with it's front mounted pulse laser pack and missiles.
As for Marauder... my favourite, but be sure to have tons of coolant for those PPCs and AC20

well,actually - heavy robots are my fauvorite units in game cuz i like mechs in general and cuz they most powerful force on surface BUT in case of PL - the name definitely not fits the unit Ostrich is a big very stupud flightless bird..it is not agressive...why would PL name it's best unit with such stupid name? i really think that ostrich should be renamed to something more...appopriate.. it should bear scary name...to invoke fear into FNU hearts therefore i offer to collect good names for 1) PL heavy robot 2) hypothetical heavy robot which might appear in addon if we get some good names then developers can choose best of them |

Timber Wolf Mad Dog Summoner Viper Dire Wolf Stormcrow If anything, the name of the Smallfoot should be changed. The units have animal names like Whale, Turtle, and Ostrich. I think the Smallfoot looks like a Puma. |

I think that Ostrich fits it rather well, actually. Just think about it: It's big It's fast It has 2 legs It has no arms It looks like a running Ostrich with its head forward and its tail in the air If the Ostrich needs to be renamed due to not looking like its namesake, then we might as well change the Turtle, Killer Whale, Pteroplane, and most of all, Smallfoot. |

I just don't think the name "Ostrich" strikes fear into their enemies' hearts . I can see Mrakobes point. It is a powerful unit that is fearsome on the battlefield, but has a name that conjures images of a lanky bird with its head stuck in the ground

.I hate it when this happens, I get so caught up in where the debate is going that I forget where it started. *thinks* Let's see...let's see...the Velociraptor fits all the criteria I named except "big" (and "no arms", but we'll just call the missile racks the arms  ) so....."Megaraptor", perhaps?

yes i also think that names like Reaper or Raptor will be very good but there are peoples who disagreee

but to be honest i don't really care what it's called, i just call them robots, i don't know what most of the units in ma are called, i just call them the obvious equivilent names, eg rocket launcher, buggy, destroyer etc.. |

I personally like "ostrich". I think it quite fitting. But if someone were to change it, "T-Rex" would be my choice. But then again, I just call them "giant robots".
