| Post subject: | Broken Game |
Hi all. How often do games "break?" One of my opponents tells me he can't play his turn, and has requested assistance from tech support. I haven't encountered this type of problem before. Anyhow, is this something the support group can fix, or is it FUBAR? The game is now 2 days overdue, w/ a 14-day limit. Do I claim a victory or wait it out? |

Games break every now and then, but not very often, especially with the latest MAN patch. To fix a broken game, you usually have to catch it before it gets too bad, but by the time it says as much, it's probably too late to fix and has to be ended in a draw. First off, before timing out ANY game, you should repair the game. Games sometimes get stuck, and I've got a couple losses on my record from where that happened and I ended up timing myself out. At any rate, if the game really is broken and your opponent really has contacted Support, the game will be ended in a draw soon enough. |
