There is a great replication of the Battletech table top hex-based board game online called "Megamek". The whole client is run in Java. To learn more, go to http://www.megamek.net

Or try Neveron (something like that)

hi folks, I have not been around for a bit but I wanted to stop by and let you know about a fan forum I'm starting for another turn based online game called Tactica Online. The game will be lucky to make it out this year, but I think it may be the type of game to appeal to the MAN fans. Stop by my forums and say hi.

For those of you who know me, I have not decided whether to re-up for man yet... still recovering from burn-out and having another baby. Good luck to you all.

The Age of Wonders series has good email gameplay. The latest version is Age of Wonders Shadow Magic and can still be found in stores.
