POSTED BY: bostonrpgmania (Matrix Forum Member) After my work I drove to the compusmart Here in Edmonton we are now having 18 hour straight and it took me one hour and a half to drive back home (usually it takes 15) Installed the game and played tutorial. My first impression is very good. As some one suggested already, yes it has a feel of panzer general and yes it has a feel of chess which is not bad at all to me. Rewind button is very very handy I think I will use it a lot Already I sensed that this is not an easy game to beat (even at tutorial... doh! ![]() |

POSTED BY: bostonrpgmania (Matrix Forum Member) Here is my second thought about the game So far I finished all the tutorials and played two scenarios and I am having great fun with gorgeous graphics. First to play the game I didnt have to read manual at all!! yay! ![]() At first I was slightly hesitant to buy this since gamespot wrote that the game is frustratingly difficult. I play game not for challenge but for fun. Thus I hesitated somewhat. Maybe game will become very difficult but I can not agree frustrating since even though my units are destroyed I am having very immersive game play. It is like playing warhammer 4000 (moving units around turn by turn) with great back ground. I am feeling that I am playing a very good table top game with the help of advanced graphics. 1280*768 it looks really gorgeous. If you were slightly interested in turn based wargaming that has a feel of table top gaming, you will not be disappointed I will post some more as I make progresses Hmm now I have 3 really good games playing at the same time, Korsun Pocket, EYSA and this one. |
