Dear Player of Massive Assault Network,

Wargaming.net invites you to participate in Planetary Championships, which enables you to compete for the victory on
your favorite M.A.N. planet. Moreover, you're able to play on maximum of three planets at the same time, thus triple your
chances to win!


Below are the rules:
Participation will be open to subscribed MAN players.
Subscription closes on Tuesday May 31st at 5.30pm (GMT) and first round games will be started as soon as possible after this deadline.
The tournaments will be seeded based on a combination of
MAN Score
MAN Rating
Glicko Rating
Previous Tournament Performance
There will be a separate tournament for each of the 12 MAN maps. (Trinity, New Paradise, Twin Islands, Wasserland, Anubis, Noble
Rust, Crateus, Antarcticus, Emerald, Brimstone, Bizarria and Butterfly).
Players can register to play on one, two or a maximum of three planets.
The exact format of the tournament on each planet will be determined after the number of entrants is known. With the general style
being single elimination knockout where there are several entrants and group style for smaller numbers of entrants.
In knockout formats, each round will consist of two battles on the planet against the same player.
The winner of a round will be
a. The player who wins both battles
If one battle is won each:
b. The player who wins in the least number of turns
If won in an equal number of turns:
c. The player who destroyed more units (measured in $ cost)
If still equal:
d. The player with more surviving units (measured in $ cost)
For group formats, each player will play all the other players in the group twice. Once as PL and once as FNU.
All battles will be set up with three day turn limits. NOTE: While the moderators will not restart games that are finished on time limit, if
your opponent asks for an extension on one occasion then it is within the spirit of the tournament to grant the extension.
Where adjudication is felt to be necessary it will be done by a panel of the moderators and Rocklizard.
Prizes in the form of 1 month MAN subscription extensions will be awarded to all planetary champions.
Champions will also be invited to participate in a special tournament of champions.
The moderators are mwigor and Tiger.

Crateus is missing from the list of planets one can select - is this on purpose?

As with previous tournaments, the wording here excludes Mac users, since we can only buy MA (no MAN for the Mac is available). Is there still a way we may participate?

A question, how is the prize "given"?... i am asking because I was billed for this month a few days ago, and I assumed that this would be the free month (it is not really a problem, but i wanted to know when the free month gets effective).

All winners have got additional 30 days to their subscription without payment. It was added as soon as winner was declared on the site of MAN, so you should got it in September.

Hmmm... that is what I thought, but my credit card was billed for september... is there anybody that can 'fix' the mistake? (i want to feeeel my prize )

Hmmm, the thing is that you've got a periodic subscription, your credit card is charged every month automatically, so I can cancel it, add a free month, but you'll have to re-subscribe aftewards anyway...
If it's OK with you, we'll do that this way...

So you can set me up with "automatic" billing.....so i don't lapse and lose games because of time limits.....?.....I complained when all-of-a-sudden I was a trial member again....and didn't get a warning that my subscription was getting ready to lapse....which put me on hot seat for getting resubscribed....ANYWAY....
So this automatic rebilling would be GOOD....

hmmm... tricky, isn't it?... and how can I know the exact day to resubscribe to avoid being "down-graded" to trial user?... I have no problems in resubscribing, any way, but i dont want to lose matches in League championship because of a date mistake...
