The prize for the easiest 7th Round draw goes to my clanmate Redfox.

A walkover against tiger with the red pieces and a slightly easier battle with the green pieces against rocklizard.

You timed your run beautifully mate :-)

Yes, of course. I've lost about 20 battles as Mentor on Emerald.

Well, I finally got time to make my opening disclosures, and it's definately no picnic. I did get the jump on Tiger in our last brawl on Anubis, but I don't think I'll be so lucky this time. I'm up for the challenge tho, good luck both of you. :)

I got two battles for each opponent on Noble Rust. Was there an error that accidentally created one Tournament game and one non-Tournament game? On the site it lists one game for each set as MAN tournament, and one as a regular game.

Is there any way to simply delete/remove the games that don't count?

Ok looks i'm not the only one with this problem.

I've also gotten duplicate games for both Noble Rust matches, and have only now recieved my Anubis match vs. Deda, which was also duplicated.

Artanis vs. Three Seven: 28882, 28942
Artanis vs. Mrakobes: 28884, 28944
Artanis vs. Deda: 28920, 28980

Me too with duplicates on Noble Rust.

I guess we just play the games listed as tournament ones on the website as the official tournament games, and agree with our opponents to play or not the other two as "friendlies"?

Sorry guys - don't know how this happened.

The ones that say they are tourney games (If you login to the MAN website) are the real ones.

The others are there to play if you want. If not contact one of the devs.

how long do we have to complete these games now? Also wouldn't it have been better to start the longer maps earlier on so hopefully they will be compelted by the end?

Maybe you're right about that (longer maps first) from a time point of you - the reason for doing it this way round is the longer maps are the better test of skill and the later rounds of the swiss tend to pair the better players together.

Regards finishing time - I will make a decision at the end of this week (ie next Wednesday) - but it probably be 3 weeks from yesterday evening.

Another problem with playing the longer maps in the early rounds would be that it would increase the number of rounds with essentially random draws. Unless of course we spaced the rounds out more.

I guess nothing is perfect. I think maybe we should allow the week for this round + an additional 3 weeks for all battles to be completed.

We can then adjudicate any battles that are still going.

mwigor: just a note, but I'll be away on holidays between Aug 1 and Aug 13. Going to the rocky mountains, and I doubt I'll be able to find a computer with an internet connection that I can install MAN on.

Will there be any chance for extensions or am I going to be out of luck?

How about a page where we could continously follow the standings? Updated maybe once a day, I think it would be a lot more entertaining than just see the winner suddenly announced in a couple of weeks.

Great job so far with the tournament anyways.
