I tried sending a reply all to ROSS's group email but seems to have failed. Anyway, I'm way too busy to do any organising. I nominate ROSS for the position. Anyone want to second this? Any objections? |

I generally don't use MSN... but I'd have to say that I cannot be captain.. just too busy to be relied on, but I always make my turns.. So far here is what I can gather about our team: Ben (Australia) bobokiller Donut (Australia) Kurtz (Not playing) Rosehead (Canada) ROSS (Canada) SunTzu (Australia) So it looks like it is Australia and Canada against the world.. lets kick some international ass Adam. |

Hi, If you didn't get good news from bobokiller or Kurtz, you can try to find additional player (I'll add him to tournament). Otherwise, some players from your team will get 4 battles in match (not 3 games as in rules). |

Good news troxburgh has agreed to join your team - he would prefer to play small maps. As part of the deal - I will delay the start of 6 of his battles by one week (to spread the load) these will be his battles against GB & Russia. Cheers, mwigor. |

Hi, We're going to have to form a combined team with USA2 - called Rest of World. I will give you another couple of days to sort out your lineups. Due to the limited time that will be left - I am going to force your veto to be Twin Islands (typically the map which takes the longest) against all 3 teams. GB will still veto Wasserland. I will allow 101 and Russia to change their vetos. |

Gentlemen (and ladies if there are actually any of you here), Team USA2 was unable to communicate efficiently and have been disbanded by mwigor (I can hardly blame him). Vaxx, Wedge, and I are the remnants and still remain excited to participate in the tournament. From what I can gather, there are Americans, Aussies, and Canadians in here and there is no finer group of nationalities that I would like to team with. Let's give the rest of the world a sound thrashing and show them who's boss. If no one else wants to take charge, I will. Based on mwigors requests, it seems as if the bear minimum we have to do ASAP is get our map preferences to him. Please post them here as soon as possible so that we don't hold him up. It will be difficult for me to manage this process until Friday as I have just moved and don't have internet access at home yet and, believe it or not, playing MAN at work is generally discouraged. So, let me start by posting my preferences, I am also emailing them to wmigor like he requested at mwigor@hotmail.com. I would prefer we eliminate Butterfly and Bizarria from the competition as outcomes on these maps for good players are typically random based on starting positions and where you deploy during the disclosure phase. My preferences: Antarcticus EXCELLENT Anubis VERY BAD Bizarria MODERATE Brimstone EXCELLENT Crateus VERY GOOD Emerald EXCELLENT New Paradise EXCELLENT Noble Rust VERY GOOD Twin Islands VERY BAD Wasserland VERY BAD Butterfly MODERATE In summary, I am hard to beat on Antarcticus, Brimstone, Emerald, and New Paradise. The others I am probably 50/50. No time to look at Glick scores. |
