Mine is nblawat@earthlink.net. You can just CC me on the email you send to mwigor so that I know your preferences also.

Reminder: map preferences to me by tomorrow or we'll go with random assignment.

Against GB the vetod maps area Wasserland & Twin Islands
Against Russia its Twin Islands & Bizarria
Against USA2 its Twin Islands & Butterfly

If I haven't heard I'll randomly select three of you to sit out one match each - then allocate people who sent preferences to the maps of their choice (suntzu, donut & nblawat so far) then allocate the rest of you randomly.

Cheers, mwigor.

I havent posted for a while due to Internet problems (currently at a cafe). Just moved countries and waiting to get cable installed. I should be able to get something happening by tomorrow, but if not, my apologies.

Post subject:  I'M IN THE SAME BOAT...

Just moved. No local access and my work server denies me the ability to send games. Not to mention, when I goto a cafe for wireless, I get a send/receive error from the MAN server "unable to unpack packet." Yeah, very helpful. Then when I attempt to repair the games and resend, it fails and the games disappear. Hopefully I can get this sorted out by Saturday. I can't believe how painful this week has been.

Good luck on those skirmishes. If you are any good, it should be flip of the coin because the outcome will largely depend on where you both make your initial disclosures. It is hard to go wrong with smallfoots and mechs.

BTW,

I'm back also. Turns out you need a "direct" internet connection to send a disclosure turn in M.A.N. Never had a problem with wireless while sending turns for previous existing games though. Very strange. Anyway, I've got some tough opponents, but I plan to stomp their nuts on behalf of the best countries in the free world.

Cheers,
Nick

Post subject:  Ouch!

All,

I made a critical mistake in Round 1 with RockLizard and it cost me 14$ worth of units in a naval transport. Needless to say, there was no point in continuing. Too early to say how it will play out in my other games.

Good luck,
Nick

Post subject:  I don't recall if any of you are playing Tywer, but...

Tiger wanted me to relay the following message:

Tywer is currently having difficulties with MAN, so will not be able to move in
his Clan War games for the time being. Please do not end games with him.

If this problem persists, Tiger will replace the battles as needed.

Cheers,
Nick

Post subject:  Another one...

Antonio Manero sent me message that he can't play during a week. Please, don't finish his battles.

somewhy i not surprised - it's quite typical for Antonio Maneiro to NOT to play for long period of times....

Post subject:  Delayed games...

All,

Tiger is sending me a lot of updates of players that are losing internet connections or otherwise unable to complete a turn by the time limit. Please do not end these games until you check the Tournament forum topic to confirm that the player has or has not informed the organizers of their technical difficulties. Good sportsmanship dictates that we give people the benefit of the doubt.

Cheers,
Nick
