Wow-- patch seems to be causing me some problems. 1. The "voice" notification works during a test prior to launching a war/battle, but after it starts the voice stays deactivated no matter what. Tried all kinds of various settings. Never had this problem before. 2. Loaded up a saved Career game one turn short of victory on Inferno, took the last bit I needed, and got a notification I had won and to go online for more competition. Better than locking up, but is Inferno as far as you can go in Career mode? Or do I need to start a new Career from scratch? Would have been nice if the Patch had a read me or some indication of what it fixed. |

Hello, Inferno is the last planet in Career mode. Once you've won - you're all through the Career. Please tell us which version of patch you've installed. Russian patch for Domination is incompatible with US-patch. Best Regards, Nick. |

Thanks, I was attempting to convince a friend he just had to pick up this game, but he wasn't gonna touch it with all the bugs. I'm pretty sure I can get him to buy it now that its patched. I've been looking forward to playing this in LAN mode. |

I ran into some problems last night after running the patch. I had turns on 4 Internet games. On 2 of these I was able to make my moves and do everything right up to the disclose phase. On the disclose phase I would click on the country that I wanted to disclose and the game would crash. In the other 2 games it did not crash, 1 had no more disclosures left and the other I didn't want to disclose any so I skipped the phase. Is this caused by the game being started under the unpatched version and then played on the patched version? I will do more testing tonight. I will start a new game with someone that is on the patched version and see what happens. I will also try uninstalling the patch to see if that allows me to continue playing the 2 troubled games. |

Yes, I had the same problem It hurt but I didn't disclose my ally and the game finished as it should. Prior to that it crashed every time I clicked on an ally. Hopefully my opponent will install the patch and there will be no more problems. |

I really like the career game feature of having to choose special abilities. Too bad I can't mod it for World War scenarios-- would be a great play balance tool. Re: Voice. I'm editing this post (again). Voice is intermittent. It works for awhile then just stops. Also, I have had several lock-ups in World War mode when I press the "show next" button in combat phase. Seems to happen especially with helicopters. Thanks much! |

I think the patch trashed the game. I can start our game but as soon as I select a country the game crashes. |

Same here Rodehard. Rodehard and I can not disclose in our game. We both are on the patch now and when it was created. I'm going back to the non-patched version. |

Since I patched, CAREER seems to randomly but every time crash with the great line "Game appear to be broken!" - hours wasted... |
