Read the threads about Starforce garbage ....man . this could fill a person with frustrating rage.....it's disrespectful and wrong.....but that's already been said......MY IMPORTANT QUESTION: I s this why I can't burn ANY dvd's on my Nero?????? |

It's very likely, I spent most of last night reading about star force on my laptop while I was formating my desktop machine. I saw several people complaining about having problems with burning. I still don't understand what the hell it did to my anti-virus protection. |

if antivirus doesn't know about StarForce it's very likely to complain when it installs itself. Rextrent: you are not able to burn DVD's and CDs or DVDs only? Technically speaking starforce should not intervene with regular CD access. It is there to provide another way for software to access CD drive. But if smth can go wrong it will go wrong

It is only a coincidence that yesterday I tried to burn DVD's and was unable to do so as they were "protected". I also read about starforce and wondered if that's why all the dvd's were unburnable. So ?????I installed Domination about two weeks ago and hadn't ever made efforts to burn dvd's before. SO.....I just wondered.....I have burned and ripped cd's in the past. I haven't tried recently and I hope there is no problem. What do you know about starforce? It sounds bad, and if all of hubbub is true, I might want a refund, but that sounds pretty pie-in-the sky....(?) |
