Hi all, I just purchased & installed the game, but now when I try to choose career as an option, it takes me to the menu to choose difficulty and a team, but I can't seem to actually start the carreer, I can choose the difficulty, but I can't choose a team, It looks like I can, but I am just stuck with the back button, no accept, or ok, or anything. Anyway, if I push back, and try to come back to the career menu, all my menus go away, and I am stuck. I have to alt-ctrl-del to get out. Anyone else have this problem? Info: I've turned off in game chat, and I have not applied the patch. Thanks! Edit: Advice from this post http://www.massiveassault.com/forum/vie ... php?t=2210 seemed to help. Is this just a known bug, or should I be concerned that my installation might be bad. |

actually it was supposed to work like 1)you choose "career" 2)you select difficulty. On right and left from difficulty menu you see symbols of PL and FNU. then you have to click with your mouse on appropiate symbol and after that you get transferred to portrait selection screen.you cant get stuck there. i am not sure i understand what problem you are speaking about. what happens then you click on side symbols?are they not working? |

You pick you side, and nothing happens. Then when you try to go back, the menus all disappear. I did alt-F4 to exit the app, and when I did that, I saw a sliver of the menu appear on the lower right like it was being drawn off screen. |

Yep, The portrait selection menu is what is not showing up, and for some reason this messes up all the menus. Qaz, did you follow the link I put in the first post? If so you'll see the solution is to copy the career.lua file from <dir>/data/scripts to <dir>/data. After I did that I haven't had any problems with Career or other menus. |
