Odd graphics with full version but not with demo?

Post subject:  Odd graphics with full version but not with demo?
Hi, i've been playing the single player demo of domination and loved it so much i went and bought it after the trial expired.

one thing i espeically liked about it was the beautiful graphics, whcih in the demo are amazing. however, in the full version the particle effects appear all funny, and not the way they should. its just the particle effects (explosions, debris) that appear odd, nothing else. yet all my settings are maxedout on both versions? yet its fine in the demo....

i can offer screenshots for comparison if anyone wants.

i know its minor but i'd like to get it fixed :)

any help appreciated!

and also ini and log files from both demo and full version.
