Post subject:  Saving work in progress for a turn

Massive Assault 2 is an excellent game in many ways.

However, there are ways it could be improved.

One major shortcoming to me is the inability to save work in progress on a turn. When doing a long turn, one must sometimes either abort a turn and later do the entire turn over again, or rush through the last part of a turn (so as not to lose the earlier work). Being unable to save work in progress is a huge shortcoming for me.

Such a feature could be implemented by having the sequence of "moves" made by a player during a turn saved locally. The "create replay" already does something similar (for all turns, not just the current turn).

When a player later wanted to continue the turn, he (or she) could simply restore the earlier work by activating a turn "replay", which would read and redo the saved sequence of moves.

It seems to me that considering the current replay capability, adding support to restore work in progress for a turn would not be a long or difficult task, and would be of great benefit to players.
