Post subject:  Steam Demo Doesn't Work and MA Questions

I tried installing the demo for massive assault network 2 from steam but it doesn't work---clicking on install demo does nothing. I've installed 20+ other demos, many recently, and its something specifically wrong with this one.

Now, my questions:

1. Is Phantom Renaissance the same game as MA: Domination? It seems this franchise has a very confusing game order/naming system. And is MA network 1 still around, or did that get completely wiped for MA network 2?

2. I have the original MA, and I downloaded the new maps for it from the original website (Brimstone, Emerald). Are there any more maps available anywhere? Any user created ones at all?

3. Does MA network 2 have an offline hotseat option?

4. Are there any Steam MA groups? I couldn't find any active ones, its a shame because this series is, as far as I can tell, absolutely unique in the gaming world.

Thanks

Well, it is being added by Steam guys and we reported them this issue.
Hopefully they will fix it soon.

1. There is no such game as MA: Domination.
There is only MA(2003); MA: Phantom Renaissance(2005) - Sequel of MA; MAN 2(2006) - Current Multiplayer client.

2. You only can play these maps on MAN 2. Currently, there are only maps by developers, but right now, staff is working on user friendly map editor. And in future you will be able to make your own planets and upload them into MAN 2 server)

3. Use MA: Phantom Renaissance. MA:PR is basically offline version of MAN 2, except that MAN 2 is always updating, but MA and MA:PR are dead.

4. Yes. This game is unique, but no, unfortunatelly, this game isn't so popular at Steam(well, it doesn't surprise me actually, the game is quite hard), but why you need Steam Community while you have ingame community? ;)

If you want to play me, add me in Steam(TorNis7). I am still trial(but quite ranked one), because game is too expensive for me.

MA Domination = MA Phantom Renaissance, just other publisher.
