Hi, everyone

Before the start of the tournament, it will be published in this topic the ordered list of players (glicko-points at time of inscription) and the pairing games of the round 1.

We want to remind all players how time control works in this tournament games.

a) When the game starts, every player have 5 days and 23 hours to finish the game. If time is up, the player loses the game.
b) The time begins to decrease when 23 hours have passed after the move of the opponent. For example, if a player moves 1 day and 8 hours after the move of the opponent, his time will decrease 9 hours (the difference between 23 hours and 1 day, 8 hours). However, if a player moves 20 hours after the move of the opponent, the time will not decrease nothing.
c) The 23 frozen hours are working in all the turns, not disappear if the player exceeds this limit in some turn during the game.

If a player has any doubt about this, can send me a in-game message or reply this post.

A week for the start!.... :)

Bye,

Hi, everyone

Finally, there are 8 players in the tournament.

With that number of players a swiss system mode makes no sense and it was decided to change it (the players know that information) to a All vs. All system with 2 games per round (red and green).

Therefore, there will be 7 rounds and 14 games per player.

In the attached image appears the list of players and the pairing games of all the rounds.

Until a round has not finished, the games of the following will not be created.

The first round will begin on Friday January 24.

Good luck for all the participants!

I forgot to mention that freeze time don't work for me.
The moment when opponent send his turn my 5 days time limit start to count down.
That is not problem since 5 days is plenty of time, but if freeze time is set it should be running smoothly.

Hi, strikan

I sent a message for all tournament's players about the problem we had to create the games of round 1 with chess clock limit.

Actually, the time limit is 5 days per turn, and is fully right than your time start to decrease after the opponent's move.

We will try to create the next rounds with chess clock time limit, if possible...it's a better system for the tournament's dinamic.

About the register as possible prize to winner, could be a good idea, but there are some problems for to do it. Mainly, the possibility of 2 or more profiles of the same player, even registered ones with other trials profiles. In this conditions, is very difficult to maintain the cleaning and justice of final result of tournament.

I dont buy the game, because i am afraid, the servers will shut down soon - and then the game is too expensive.

But to win an activation-key would be great.

When does Round2 start? I am in holiday next Week from Sunday until Sunday including.

Sorry for bad english, its not my language ;)

Next round starts when all games from 1st round are finished. And from Sunday until Sunday is 7 days and you have 5 days turn limit. Well you must play at least one turn or make a some kind of deal with your opponent to hold his turn for 4-5 days.

Dear Mabruk...

This game has a support team fantastic and while the players continue to play the future is assured.
If you buy or not buy it is only your decision.

To be registered player have obviously many advantages, mainly all the maps at your disposal and the extended set of units. Also, you can to play tournaments (this "Trials 2014" is a exception), etc....

About the 2nd round, strikan is right, all the 1st round games must be finished. Therefore, maybe you have not problems to move. If before to start the round some player ask me some delay (2-3 days, e.g.) with his games, I have not problem to do it...

The 2nd round games will be, if possible, created with 5 days and 23 frozen hours chess clock time limit, as was originally decided.

Bye, and don't worry, as you can see, my english is not better than yours!!...

Hi, everyone

The first round 5 days per turn time limit is delaying the tournament dinamic.

As rounds are already defined, I have thinked the possibility of starting those games of 2nd round where neither "strikan" nor "d935" are involved. Therefore, we could to start the Overkill - vovaba and Karbok2 - Newborn.

I will ask them opinion about this.

The 2nd round, if any problem happens, will be created with 5 days and 23 frozen hours of chess clock time limit.

No problem. You can start as soon as you wont 2nd round.

My problem is delaying of the game with d935 since the game is almost over. There is no since in holding turn and hoping in some kind of miracle.

There is 12 games more to play and nothing is over yet. Pass that turn d935.

Hi,

I would like to remember all this tournament players than the time limit is 5 days and 23 frozen hours of chess clock.

When your opponent move, you have 23 hours to move before your time start to decrease.

Newborn -is walla = yannium -double nick. Its not fair-play, delete him, please.

Post subject:  Re: Trials 2014 Tournament

Sorry, Le_Roy, but nor walla neither yannium are in the players list of that tournament.

The double nick rule must to avoid 2 or more nicks of the same player in a tournament, because the player can to manage the games with advantage over the others players.

In this case, maybe, I can agree than is not ethically acceptable very experienced players simulate to be trials, but that is really a problem of this player and than he/she is willing to do for obtain the victory.

Therefore, without doubt the veracity of what you comment, I can't delete this player. I hope you understand my decision.

Bye, my friend

Agree with tese1969.
It make no sense to have multiple account in any combination trial-register player.
There is tournament for registered player too.

Let`s move on.

Yes, Strikan, but the tournaments for registered players are not "unrated" ones and there are players than don't like to lose glicko-points, like some player by Le_Roy named.

I don't agree with that point of wiew, but is a player's choice.

When do you become registered?

Bye and good luck with your games, Strikan
