First of all, is there anywhere to view or even print maps? I think being able to look at a scale map view of the play maps would be kind of interesting and helpful. They could include the spaces, so that you could use them for planning purposes, or just to familiarize yourself with the layouts.

Another thing I was wondering about- I like the whole secret ally/ disclosure process, but I wonder if an option where you would see who all the allies were for both sides right away (even though you would still disclose one at a time) if it would make for a good game, and one that some people might enjoy more.

You could even have a variation where there were no preset allies, but rather you chose your countries for allies in each disclose phase, right up to the set total number of allies.

Anyway, this is a very cool game.

IIRC, there used to be a key for moving to an overhead view of the map...

Seeing all allies or being able to choose all allies would change ma into risk. It is just this option that makes ma so interesting. You must make your moves based on "what could happen in the future" and not with the knowledge of "what will happen in the future"
