Two suggestions and one minor gripe concerning the chat area:

(1) Why not include the rank/score of players beside their name in chat? This would at least give a rough indication of skill and it would thus be particularly helpful for someone wanting to watch a good game.

(2) Why not also add info to display which other player/what map/etc. someone is playing when you put the cursor over the "eye" button?

(3) Typing in chat (and everywhere else in MAN 2 where you can type for that matter) is unresponsive. This is also true in MAN. Often letters are missed if you type too fast, they just don't immediately appear once you hit the key, etc. Is this just my computer or are others having the same problem? Usually this issue is just a minor annoyance, and maybe it isn't easy to fix...but when one tries to have an extended conversation in chat, it can become quite bothersome.

(1) i'm not sure it's necessary, there a lot of player's properties such as victories/defeats/name/e-mail. Why score and rank are more important than others? Where exactly do you suggest adding rank and score? Is there enough place? Do you mean channel names list? I'm asking 'cause we've added rank before player's alias in the chat messages window.

(2) we're plannig to make such a feature

(3) turn background animation off and enjoy fast typing. One symbol - one frame, if fillrate falls down, so does speed of typing.

1) This should be added yes. I don't care about someone's email, but more about his/her rank/score to decide wether to challenge or not.

2) Good idea and happy it will come.

3) Restart MAN2 :)

Well, maybe my computer is just too slow, but I have no problem with typing response time in other programs/games. BTW, I still have this problem with background animation off (my normal setting) and before MAN 2 starts to slow down after being left on a while.

Also, a new idea: It would be helpful to have a little button in the corner of the screen (next to "pause") while watching replays/games to toggle the in-game chat setting on/off. This is something I find myself wishing it was easier to quickly change back and forth.

A little button or at least a keyboard short cut in stead of the options.

Yes indeed....I generally don't want the chat box on my screen at all....BUT getting it up for a private message during the rare same-time play could be simpler....
Yes ....my response in the chat box has been laggy...especially moving around the cursor.

I've noticed a lot of players myself including heu confused by the ingame chat thing.

When your cursor is still in the window, you can't move on the map.
Need to click out the window before I can move.
Now I know that, but I was freaked out the first time it happened..

Can't it be done that you can move always?
