Sorry, I've forgot one more option - 1280x1024.
Now I've added it.

I actually use 1280 x 800. Voted for the closest one - 1280 x 1024 instead.

15" and 1280? Isn't your view rather small then?

Please, vote for 1280x1024 if you have resolution higher than 1024x768,
800x600 if you have resolution less than 1024x768.

Well, I've voted for 1280x1024 but in fact I use 1600x1200. It's the native resolution of my 20" TFT. ;-)

use 1600 x 1200 and i wish the option was there to go higher. The more of the map i can see at one time the better.

Hi-Def TV and such is a hype....hardly a real experience, just another example of mass-suggestion/brainwashing...
If it makes playing the game difficult, what value does ultra-graphics have? Many people with computers will not go out and spend more money to upgrade for what is really a senseless reason, other than to line the pockets of a relative few.
This is merely a valid opinion.
This is not an argument about hair-splitting and I think the point is made.
After buying a lifetime subscription, I will assume that everything will remain at least as friendly as it is now. Don't mess up a good thing.
(Hey....this kind of thing makes me nervous!)

T, are you saying that each of us setting the game to different resolutions will screw up the game play? Don't you think it is more a matter of what each of our computers will handle? If they add an option to go 19??x14?? it does not mean that anyone has to use it and i am sure that if some of us did and it degraded the game play we would switch back to a lower resolution. I just like having as large a overview of the map as possible. It often brings into view possible threats that you would miss if you did not constantly scroll all over the screen.

Nosir...I just freaked out. Someone switched meds on me. :)
I fear my games becoming "unfriendly". It kind-of happened w/the game timer thing. Some things are just really fine the way they are, and we mess them up getting fancy.
It's actually nice when the new tech fads come around, as it knocks the price of really good "uncool" stuff down.
Yessir, I AM out in left field.

1600x1200. I max out everything. I used to go the other way, and turn off graphics, but 1 day I wanted to see what would happen and it dod not affect my gaming... it does cause some delays starting man2, but otherwise is unnoticable.

Yes, I have a very fast PC.

I think, no I'm sure that my beast can handle 1600x1200, but my monitor is just way to small for that :( I don't like to put my head against my screen to see what's displaying on my screen anyway :)

Btw, it's not so that MAN2 asks much power pc imo..

1024x768 is what I just reset to. I answered 800x600 in the poll, so that is now innaccurate.

I clicked 800x600 to get close to the choosen resolution: 960x600 in windowed mode. By using this mode I can quickly change to other applications, e.g. Outlook for checking emails ("New Turn from ...").
