Massive Assault :: View topic - Can't open man2 after loading new patch (243r)

I would like to say thanks to Artmax for his great job...now the problem is solved

I sent in a support request 2 days ago. I have not been able to play the game since I installed the patch (I tried installing to a new folder as well).I get the same message mentioned in this thread:

man2.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I have many games in progress which are going to time out. Can anyone help me?

For all who experience problems with running MAN2 v. 2.0.243! Here, http://www.massiveassaultnetwork.com/download/man.2.0.243special.zip you can find a special version of man2.exe. Download the file and unzip it to your man2 folder. You must overwrite your existent man2.exe which fails to execute, with the new one.

Post subject:	Game won't run.
Arthur, I am running under XP. The game won't open up (stops after title screen runs and menu screen begins opening). I have tried turning off the firewall and anitvirus programs and deleted all previous MAN folders and files; then downloaded Demo version with same result. Then downloaded new patch version and also your zip file. Also with same result. The game still closes after initial title screen.
