I've had problems sending / recieving games for many months now - tends to only work at night, but the chat server is always ok. Then I heard that my ISP was 'shaping' or 'throtteling' P2P traffic, but not at night. I tested this by installing Limewire and sure enough I can't send / recieve games when I get a P2P download speed of 1k (on a 2mb line with good signal strength to the P2P network). When the P2P works at night the game also works. I've heard other guys in the past say they have similar problems with MAN2. Can anything be done by the developers to change the download method of games so it won't get confused by ISP's as a P2P? Cheers GinRunner |
