I'm running the latest .270 version and the whole program keeps freezing for about 3-5 seconds every 30 seconds or so.

This happens in-game and in the control panel too. Also in-game, it is very sluggish and jerky.

Any suggestions?

Are you sure it's not the Kaspersky?

That happens when you start exe file from different directory than MAN2 game. This patch should be extracted to "C:\program files\massive assault network 2\" or other folder where you installed the game. And i know a number of bugs in 2.0.271, i don't recommend it.
