It's not a bug. When you have not entered a profile common settings.ini is used (i.e. in the same folder as man2.exe). As soon as you choose a profile all settings are taken from file save/<profile name>/settings.ini |

When you run program you don't select profile immediately (for example, you can have some profiles on single computer). So until you don't select your profile, your settings don't work. You should select windowed mode twice: in the main menu for common settings and in the option after selecting of your profile. |

after selecting a profile u go into online mode and there are no options in the online mode for display settings etc, i get the same problem with sound settings, i've turned the music off in the main options, once i log into online mode the music's back again. I'm prob missing something very simple but can't see it. |

You can select Menu in the game (battle) and you after it select Options. |

Have a similar problem on my workplace computer. It's a somehow slow (and i mean VERY SLOW!) machine: P IV - 1800MHz 256 MB RAM GForce 2 MX 400 Win2K SP4 So you see, it's not that kind of machine you normaly would play games with. But it should be able to run MAN2. At least it does the main menu (didn't try to go further yet ![]() But i can't change to windowed mode. Every time I click onto 'apply' it changes for a short moment to windowed mode, just to go back to fullscreen. When I take a look into the settings.ini there's "FullScreen =0". Is it a Bug? Is it an issue of my Hardware? Greetings, Stefan |

Please update the drivers for your videocard, maybe they are out-of-date...check Refresh rate, check Color quality on your desktop and set the same in the game (16 or 32 bit) |

*slaps himself* You're right. First of all the drivers are about 2 years old. (But I'm not sure if newer drivers fix or improve anything for a MX2/400!) But i will fix that now. Changing the color-depth from 16 to 32 bit fixed my problem. -> Suggestion to the Devs: Insert a check for the resolution when the game starts, if it's not possible to show 32 bit when the desktop is set to 16. E.g. World of Warcraft runs without Problems in 24 bit windowed mode when desktop is set to 16 bit. As an alternative, a popup would help that says something like "you are somehow stupid: your desktop resolution is to low! Go and $%§* yourself with your windowed mode!!!1111oneoneeleven" ![]() Greetings, Stefan |
