Hello, i have bugs in these games.

#17387:
My bombers/planes had a firing range of 8 instead of six. Please end this game as draw.

#15004:
I can't use my plane/bomber in Pushtustan. I disclosed this country in my turn before and destroyed the bombers of my opponent. Furthermore the game crashs to desktop every time i want to undo or rewind a move. I have big advantage in this game. Therefore count it as victory for me.

Thanks for your support!

What about my glorious comback.....

What if you snatch defeat from the Jaws of Victory.....

Only kidding...... I would like the game fixed so I can learn more about being humble in defeat. ;) - And thanks again for that beautiful lesson on destroying my bobers. Magic.

Draw would be nice (or even an anulment) but he does have the upper hand.... So I won't cry too much if you give him the win.

The game timed out (#15004).

I incorrectly "Finished" the game - and was awared the points for the match.

The game should be awarded in Morns favor or deleted completely.

I know you guys are busy - sorry for creating more work for you.

Keep up the hard work.

Thanks

The game was ended by ravermeister. Nevertheless it would be nice if these bugs could be fixed. Especially that one in game 15004. The bug is reproducible and it exists in MAN too (http://massiveassault.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3326).

This is from the strategy guide of MAN1:

Destroying or neutralizing enemy aviation:

...

4.3 Enemy aviation is based in an unguarded city in your Secret Ally. If the city is not guarded -just disclose the Secret Ally and place the cheapest unit into the city - and the enemy Bombers will be immediately destroyed. It is always very tempting to destroy three enemy Bombers in one blow - however, keep in mind that after such disclosure the enemy can recapture this country and take the Indemnity.

4.4 Enemy aviation is based in your Secret Ally in a guarded city.

- If there is no external reinforcement available, disclose the Secret Ally, surrounding the city. The next turn, the defender can be destroyed, and the turn after that the city can be liberated. However, this method has substantial disadvantages: remember that the newly deployed Secret Army cannot move or fire - thus the forces will suffer causalities after deployment. Moreover, if the enemy breaks the blockade from outside, he’ll be able to bring more troops to guard the city.

- If one has other forces outside this country, as in the above-described massive strike towards the city - destroy the enemy unit occupying the city and then at the end of this turn disclose the Secret Ally and place one of its units in the capital. This is a very aesthetic, effective and extremely demoralizing two-step operation.

Now to the reproducible bug:

If you place a unit and a bomber in the capitol after disclosing your secret ally you will get a buggy game.

In MAN1 I couldn't load these games anymore and in MAN2 the game crashed to desktop every time I undo or rewind a move.

Does your opponent agree on it?

@ramirez: What's that supposed to mean?

This was a buggy game as you can see in the beginning of this thread. My opponent insisted on playing new games and draw the buggy one. What's the problem?

Is this only when you've invaded as discribed before (strategy guide)?
Or with any disclosing?

I think I've done such a disclosing withouth any problem.. (one unit in the capital, one or more bombers)

Is this only if you place the unit in the capital first and then the bombers or does it work in the other way too?

I guess "repairing" doesn't fix the problem.. This should be solved yes!

I adduced the strategy guide not for nothing.

Your secret ally must be invaded by your opponent and in the capital must be at least one bomber of your opponent. If your opponent is not a newbie the capital is guarded by a unit for example a smallfoot.

Now your forces strike back and they destroy the smallfoot. In disclose phase place one unit and at least one bomber in the capital. Send the turn and the game is bugged.
