Have not been able to connect to the server all night. Is it down again and, if so, why does it seem to be crashing so often?

Can I use this opportunity to suggest a web site - (not on the game server) that will provide the status of the game server - and if it is down a eta on the restoration time - or just a note to say the developers are on to it.

I am always wondering if its the PC, my internet connection, or the server. It would also save a lot of threads like "Server Down Again" from populating this forum :)

Yes, that would be nice.
And it would also be nice to get some responses from the support personnel when it is asked for.
I like to say nice things, but when I get ignored repeatedly, expect a com plaint.
I expect better than to be ignored.

Some SQL requests crash both game and chat server repeatedly.

To check game server status, just open your web-browser and type in http://www.massiveassaultnetwork.com/man2/index.php

If website loads fine - then the problem is on your end. In case the site is not loading completely and you can't see game server status there - then the server is down.

We hope to fix this following week. At the moment we took actions to minimize downtime.
