I've played about 100 games already, may be more. And I would advise you something.

1. When you first attack a country try to concentrate large troops near the border, don't attack by one or two units. The first attack will result in enemy's guerilla deployment and your couple of units would definetely be destroyed. Moreover, if you attack a neutral country it's a perfect gift to your enemy 'cause have destoryed your units he would get control over the attacked country. And before your attack, he couldn't even dreamed about such a present.

2. Capital capturing is very important! You will never control a country if the capital is not captured. If you afraid of enemy attack do not forget to place a unit to the capital.

3. Aircraft is very powerful thing. After buying a plane you can transfer it to carrier or to another city (12 hexes max) or you can bomb by it (6 hexes max).

4. Try to distribute shooting right. I mean when you shoot at enemy units try to make enemy's units' hitpoints zero. Instead of making ne unit -2 and another one 2 amke them 0 and 0.

Actually, I could tell you a lot. When the in-game message system gets working I would explain mistakes to everybody.

when somone invades a large city with more forces than u stand a chance to defeat i just build aturret on the city itself to hold them of for as long as posible and a lav in each corner of the continent

yeah it's a good idea but for small cities that won't work.
if someone invades a small city witha a large force (if it's ai usually tanks),a nd you've only got 4 guerilla you have little defene unless you have anthor country by it.

oh yeah say theres a theres 3 citys all in a line and you own one ones nutruel and ones his he has all his lined up next to the nut one but yours are miles away about to take somone else its pointless trying to defend the one in the middle so set the gurilas up on your border with lavs (this is if its the comp or they mainly have short range units)and it will take him/ai a few turns to get to your fleet by this time u got some medium ranged units behind the lavs. he dont get no revenu fomr the city and you just mass up fleets then take it back

It's so funny to see when a player sets up naval units as the Guerilla.

It's impossible to control a country by naval units! You control a country when at least one GROUND unit is on the territory. Sea is not considered as a country territory.

But if you are totally outnumbered (like in our game), then you buy a battleship kill some units and try to get away. I caused 6 hitpoints damage. And I got away with a usefull ship. So I think its ok.
