I just got back from my spring vacation and I don't have many active games.

I'm looking to play anyone who responds to turns quickly.

I reply to turns at least once a day, and tend to keep MA open in the evenings so if you reply during that period you'll get a fairly rapid response.

Feel free to challenge me :)

Feel free to send me a challenge or two as well. I generally take turns as often and as soon as possible (though I won't be around the computer with MA on it for a bit, as I'm home for this weekend).

I'm honestly curious: why don't you get a Hotmail account for the new turn notifications to be sent to and then just use MSN or Trillian? It's probably easier on your computer than leaving MA open all the time.

Because then I need to check my mail all the time. I simply minimise MA, and when I receive a turn it thunders away (I think this is an undocumented feature, I'm not sure), and I restore it and take my go. A notification of e-mail arrival is far inferior in that:

1. It doesn't mean it's an MA e-mail.

2. I need to proceed to log into my e-mail account to find out the nature of the mail.

Leaving MA minimised for the evening while I browse the web, is far easier.

That's the thing, though. The Hotmail account I got for MA is listed in the "send turn notifications to this address" line and nowhere else. I also have it set to only allow emails from "contacts", and have ONLY the addy that notification emails come from in that account's contact list. Thus far, I have yet to receive a false alarm that wasn't simply a delayed notification email.

Yeah but then I have to fire up the game each time. I have the memory to keep it minimised without impacting on the performance of my machine (unless I want to play a game, then I quit it), so it's just easier for me to do things that way... and saves a lot of inbox cleaning :)

Pagefiles suck. I bought enough memory for my needs... more than enough. Considering the price of memory these days, there really is no need to ever run out.
