Ok. Than just basics for rules now.

1. Personal Time Limit for each player. For battle it is MAX(TPlayer1, TLPlayer2)

2. MAN and MA planets simultaniously (but in our test game it's not represented)

3. Not simmetrical map, not equal starting positions, not equal clan members quantity etc

4. Difficult to create alliaces before game (because the placing procedure at start. Clan Leaders at game start repeatedly place their players on map by one and by order)

5. Each player situated on real position on the map. (Movements are under limitations)

so it's a cross between the current clan war and the latest idea? With representing players on the map.

How are you generating the map? and updating it? We use a c++ program which converts some text in data files into the map that you see on the site.

map generates by half-automated procedure now

map update - manually now (two layers - map itself is static, but text is not)

battles starts - manually now

heh, even rules - updates manually now

it's because not very simple to compare

players represented by counters (instead of army; one, two or more per player), counters may be destroyed (but if there is no retreat only), and may be purchased;

there is no credits, but there is values for planets - it allows for players to attack and move with different time delays (there is also difference between front and rear planets, and difference between front battles, and... long range invasions), and there is stars, for victoryes, for that counters may be purchased or PL side in battles.

and another thing, for compare :)

there is only one general player (for a clan) per planet (any other players in a pool). This player can personally organize attack of near planets of another clans. (Between attacks must be some time delays). So, this player can fight up to 7 battles at time. But if that time he lose a battle for home planet, ALL other battles are scrapped also.

Just in our game, Gleb attacks Tiger on Brimstone, and Tiger attacks another Brimstone near. First battle Tiger fights for green, second - for red. Battles started at one time. Tiger must win at first, or more quiclky win at second. If no - Tiger will be destroyed, as there is no retreat.

:)

There is another ways to attack. Players can relocate to near planet of another clan for battle (And so may be not having trouble for their home planet, if there is more than one near). Sometimes, players can relocate at long distance. Time delay for this depends on rear planets value. (Time delay for near attacks depends on values of start and target planets)

to add to Tiger's example

if other player from red team (theoretically, VDmitry after Wolf surrender), quickly attacks Gleb on Antarcticus, and win before Tiger lose - Tiger will retreat.

Also, seond counter of Tiger fight atm for another Antarcticus near. If he quicly wins, than can retreat there from Brimstone. But in that battle very high time limit, so it is not very real.

There are some another examples of Tiger's Rescue...

insteed of just surrender and move, player *can* move (only to adjacent friendly planet), and *if* his battle(s) after are in distance of 1 - he can continue fight in it, but *if* there is battle(s) after are in distance more than 1 - it lost.

so this movement are very limited. Add to this, that this also increase player's delay counter

ah yes didn't understand about this delay counter either

Also can a player be defending 1 planet, then more to anotehr 1 away (so he can carry on the 1st battle) and then the enemy attacks the planet he's moved to, can he then defend again? having 2 battles?

:) Yes, rules and translation needs some work yet.

Delay counters are simple thing. Each action (except any defense) increase a delay counter. Counters decresed by one each week. After any counter reach a zero, player can do a new action. (Defenses can be doing any time). So, delays are usually for attack actions.

Second question i dont understand :) Player can defend any time, if he is nearest of players and planet itself is currnet or adjacent. Also, he must be a General player, but if he fight this time, he *is* General.

7 defenses are max. And this is risky way and not real.

Any 2 battles for one counter is a risk. In attack or defense...
