45887 is broken. I am unable to play due to "map file" not accessible.
I do not want to be timed out for this problem.
Thank you. (Nice-looking game!)

Did you install latest maps?

The game is on Micronesia. Ask any player who has it, to send Micronesia to you. I don't know what else to suggest you, we don't have single maps for download. I can just guess what you did to get rid of it.

How could I get rid of it?
I deleted my "old" MAN2 files and loaded the newest, along with the two map files.
All my other games are fine.
Again, I do not want to lose because of a time-out.
Thank you.

Why to delete anything? You had just to download the patch and to install it! No additional operations needed.

Get the map from any player, just ask a player to zip the map file called micronesia.dat and to send it to you.

If you have got the old patch, man.2.0.115beta_patch.exe or man.2.0.115beta.exe you can install it first, even over 226. After that, install the newest patch, 226.

I would strongly reccommend everybody to keep all patches you download. It may turn out to be useful one day.

You might think it should work that way, but in real life, S**T happens and it doesn't work.
After downloading the Patch 226, I had a "Problem with my Windows" and was unable to play at all.
This is because of numerous patches and extra files for maps, which has complicated the whole process.
I don't give a dam why, but I just do what I need to do because I hate to lose games to "Time-Outs" and I love the game!
Besides the Beta-Testing-Status of the game, I imagine if we were all using X-Boxes, instead of IBM-Style PC's, there would be no need for a Support !

Okay, I still can not access Micronesia after just downloading the main map file.
Something is wrong.
If you can send a zipped file, then fine.
Why wouldn't it load with the map file?
I just want to get this fixed....pleeease.

Forget about the game, I restored your profile, successfully entered the game, saw the dialogbox "Victory. Your opponent has surrendered!" and left the game.

open your maps folder and check if file brimstone.map exists there. I've restored your profile. The game seems to be OK.

This was one things that I did - there is no map called brimstone.map which supposed to be installed with map pack - I don't know what is going on :(

How about re-downloading the origianl map pack not just the extras?

I don't know the reason for this behaviour. Nevertheless he's got Micronesia and Brimstone now (I uploaded both maps).

We've just uploaded the only map pack featuring all the planets (437mb).
So you can click the link on map pack with 18 planets to download it (our webmaster will shortly update download page leaving only the version, the patch and the map pack on it).

Thanks. I will try the new map pak.
Apparently, I can do this without removing/deleting anything.

Someone did well!
The new map pack works FINE!....
That's good work.
I have looked to see if Micronesia is there, and voila!
I didn't delete anything prior to the new save and run.
Now that's support! :)
