Is there any way I could design a map?

I could easily draw a map (like what Neoff has done for each of the existing maps) but I think I would struggle with the (I mean it would be impossible) for me to do the graphics.

I would love to design the tactical aspects of a map - would the developers be interested in submissions from players - maybe have a competition - and the best maps actually get developed into real playable maps?

Just a thought

Hi Alex.

Actually, your question was much debated by our developers, as on the one hand it is very interesting issue. But you must understand that the operation of map development takes much time to be realized. To tell the truth, we are about to release some new maps, but they will appear just after the Russian release of the game (Most likely in January).

Besides, the idea of competition sounds really attractive for us, and we’ll definitely think over your proposal. So we’ll try to make a poll through this forum and MAN 2 web-site to be sure that this idea is really interesting for our players.

Thanks.

Thanks for your response

Like I said count me in

The hard part I imagine is making it pretty - but the tactical side would also be a challenge - and who better than the top players to make them

One idea I had was a map like Crateus - but with water - with a large ($18) island country in the middle of a lake - with lots of small and medium countries around the outside of the edge.

First one to the middle wins :) - or you can skirt around the edge.
