If someone continues to abuse and insult using chat, both common and private, can't they be banned or lose this capability?
It makes it difficult to concentrate on a game when some yahoo "private chats" persistently and is unwelcome.
This is a great game, especially without somebody forcing his manboobs in your face. Nasty! 8)

MAN2 is for playing the game and some chat for knowledge, friendship and sometimes "entertainment".
Private chat is not a place to secretly insult persons and drive them to anger.
It is not a place to make very rude comments about someone's mother or any other topic.
It takes some brains to chat, at least as much as it does to play the game.
I can easily walk away from the first slap and I have turned the other cheek, but there is a limit to that.
MAN2 is a fine place ! Let's keep it that way !

Yannium is exact that person who like to drive somebody to anger.
Please see attached file.

Here is the translation for those who do not know french

in English:

Yannium for me: Little mongrel, you are worse than I thought!. You can't attack someone head-onе head.
You are fucking snot nose player from Russia.

in Russian:
Янниум мне: Маленький ублюдок, ты даже хуже, чем я думал. Ты не можешь атаковать в лоб.Ты гребаный сопляк игрок из Росии.

So his words look like discrimination. BUT YANNIUM - THIS GAME IS NOT FOR DISCRIMINATION, BLACKMAIL AND OTHER DIRTY WORDS. THIS GAME as Rextrent already sad is for friendship.

:o  :-? 8)
I've already wasted so many words on this being.
Gee, there are so many losers playing MAN2!
Yammium has come to show the way...to senseless hatred.
We have been such losers to treat others kindly and with respect.
I wish I knew the french with which to speak proper words of insult.
But...I am just a one-language loser !!
MAybe I can use emoticons to express my loser ways :P

I have also had problems with yannium. It started when he posted in the chat that he wanted someone to play. I sent him a challenge on a large map and he rejected it as soon as i sent it. I asked him why and he said that he only likes to play "live" games and not "turned based". This was fine with me as i explained that i do not play any live games so we just will not play. A few day later when i was online he sent me a message asking me to play and i told him that we like different types of games and that i was now playing all of the games that i wanted and did not want to start any more. Since that exchange, anytime i am in the online mode he sends insulting private messages, calling me a loser and afraid to play him, that my position was gained by playing all bad players ect ect. Keep in mind that this is coming from the person that REJECTED MY CHALLENGE to him. I have asked him to not contact me more than once but he still does and while i ignored him for awhile i have now started firing back --something i should not have done but sometimes you can be pushed too far. I have played MAN and MAN2 for 4 or 5 years now and have never run into anyone that is like this player-a complete jerk.

I have actually changed my online status to the "do not disturb" mode so that i do not have to deal with him. Having played this game for a long time i have made many good friends from all over the world --players both good bad and great and, for me, the opportunity to chat with different people from around the world was often as engaging as the game play. I also found that the top players seemed to share a certain respect and feeling of mutual friendship, if based on nothing other than the shared knowledge that we all could play a very good game. This mutual respect among for other top players seems to be the main thing that is missing from this yannium. I am sure he will read this so know this general: I have played many top players, morn, pitor, ravermister, aghepue, tiger and many others. Some games i have won, others i have lost but they have all been fun and played with mutual respect. I will play any of these players anytime they ask but because of your actions, I will NEVER PLAY YOU, so you have lost this opportunity.

This was a fine day for me, as an American.
Watching a great president and person step down, very relieved and satisfied.
Watching a young man become President who appears with integrity and wisdom, giving hope and inspiration to millions.
The third great thing....You guessed it!!
The return of a peaceful and intelligent community chat board.
Thank you, Jedi Knight and whoever else saw the need and had the guts to make something happen for the benefit of all (but one).
Make WAR in PEACE !
See you on the batlefield :)

The fact is that Yannium has altered programming(hacking) so that his private messages to me are displayed on my screen before I click on and open the private chat. This is number one breaking of rules (new rules to be presented immediately with warning that rule-violators will lose all subscription rights based on their decision to break the rules).
Number Two is that a player has been told not to send private chats and they continue to do so.
Number Three is that insults are sent repeatedly after being told to stop.
A rule should already exist regarding SPAM on the common. The definitions are not clear, but defamatory remarks about anyone in the common should be RULE FOUR. Details to protect against misuse and misunderstanding of this rule can be easily written.
Let's please get this done so that the game site can be a safe and respectable place for the great majority of subscribers.
There is no reason for a delay in taking action.
Once rules are decreed and any one of them broken, action can be taken swiftly to remove a players subscription.
They will be forewarned and will have no recourse.
Someone over there other than Jedi Knight/Ivan needs to act like they have some balls.
How do you believe about strength of character and decency in Russia?
I would imagine it to be very similar around the world.

What's the reason for allowing a constant abuser of priviledge to continue ?
As stated earlier, a player who cannot control themself needs to be removed from the gameplay or at least have the chat function disabled.
This is pitiful.
Yannium and whatever other username he chooses has coninued to badger. He also plays as VALTAN making the claim that "I am a newbie. Play with me!"
He fooled nobody but acts without any restraint.
Please pull the plug on this asshole.
If this had been handled properly, there would be no need for this kind of trivial garbage.
