I'm traveling and am connected to the internet via DSL at my hotel, but I cannot connect to the MAN server.

I saw a previous post stating that 6005 and 6543 port for outgoing TCP connection were required, but they are not blocked by the dsl provider.

Any suggestion?

Is it blocked by yourself? Software firewall? Firewall in your DSL box?

I'm not sure what would cause a block, I don't have a firewall installed. Anyone know what could be wrong. In the past it worked on this computer, but I had it in for tech support and they may have changed settings.

Being the geek I am, I have a second laptop with me. i plan on installing MAN tonight and see if it works.

Thanks,

What OS?

If you have Win XP with SP2, you might need to disable internet connection firewall.

Thanks for the suggestion - it is xp. I will give it a try. (as a note, it did not work on my other laptop either)
