I'm playing the campaign and have gotten stuck on the Island of Soan battle.

This is the one where you have to take the turrent control center that is in the middle of SIX death turrents, three of which have extended range....oh and you can't destroy the turrents or you lose automatically.

I can't figure it out, there has to be some simple gimmick that i'm missing because everytime I get within range of the Turrents I get wasted.

Anyone out there figured this one out?

Need to take control of the city in second turn and get the turrets on your side. Kill the blocking bridge in turn one, use the naval transport to land an amphib / heavy bot in city on turn 2.

You can use land transport from naval transport too.

At the start of the scenario your instructed to get into the enemy's rear area, so i've been trying to go around the backside. I hadn't tried just walking through the front door. Sounds like one of those situations where I slap myself on the forehead and say Dooh!

when I go for the front as suggested the turrent still kill me before my 2nd turn

*edit* opps just say the download lol

If you manage to:
1. turn: Unload the amphib and land transport (one should survive the turn), together with the bot's which will help to take out the Leviathan.
Also take out the bridge.
2. turn: Load either the amphib or transport on the naval transport, and unload by the now accessible base and capture it.
