I don't see any problem with it. The Logo and name were kept the same by us as Clan War developers, as we didn't hear anything different.

You don't need to split the ROTM clan in order to participate in 2 clan wars... think of it as seperate teams. If desired, the individual teams can come up with their own logo/name, but its not required. It is entirely up to the clan.

So I vote for a 3rd option: ROTM has 2 teams, one for each war

i don't understand why you are splitting rotm? In my view a hug clan is a great thing, i'd give alot to have FOR be about 20+ members, woudl elt us field lots of teams in lots of different wars, and just think of the inyernal toruney and possiblt internal war between different teams etc ah but i can dream.

But as for who uses what if u guys really can't agree as you had ROTM 1st guess split away group would need something else ( it will mess up the clan war info among otehr things to have 2 clans called the same.) But then again this is a game and it's not like we can enforce anything anyway.

Just to repeat what Enforcer and Maelstrom have said: you can have two teams that are still one clan. You can go ahead and have an RotM-Andromeda led by Manko and an RotM-Orion led by Antonio Manero just like TGE has a TGE-Andromeda led by Tiger and a TGE-Orion led by Mrakobes.



P.S.: Yes, I know that TGE-Orion and RotM-Orion have their own names, but I left them out for the sake of clarity in my point.

ok i see you logic.

but that means you play on different galaxy and never play against the other subclan (that could be interesting too one interest of splitting).

and for a whole galaxy war you don't have a real link with the other part of the clan (not the same players you play against..)

so the links becomes very artificial.

on the first clan war there was only one MAP (you had "geographic link")

so everything that linked members of clan has no more existence.
strategical path is different for each subclan.

saying IEC and TGE is one clan is a little bit a spirit's view, they are in fact 2 clans !

but i agree that what Artanis and Enforcer tells is that depending on their point of view it doesn't matter.
may be they are right and i put a terrible mess for nothing.

i prefer play and design than arguing about what makes a clan a clan :=)

well we intend to ahve multiple wars so in the enxt round od wars u might wanna mix your groups up so everyoen gets to play with everyone else etc.. and for large clans we might do 1v1 between just those 2 etc..

Like Enforcer said, you can mix up the groups, so the next war might have an RotM team consisting of Manko, Antonio Manero, MadJazz, warchrisMA, EL DIABLO, and Vorl.

If you want to have the two teams fight against each other, we will be releasing the software that we use at some point in the future, and you will be free to use that to set up your own wars if you like.

you are wrong saying that

that was probably so in end of last CW (though IEC and TGE were closest allies)
seems you arent getting the idea of current CW.The war can be played on different maps.Currently we playing beta CW to fix bugs in rules so for test purposes there are two wars.when everything will be made smoothly there can be not two but several wars (say 6-8 ).those war will be on ifferent maps some maybe small which can be finished fast some bigger..some may even have had limit of 1 day (for the bunch of fastest players)
so - if there are 8 wars at once the TGE clan can participate in say 4-5.so different teams will be formed for each war - some from faster players some for slower.
But there is no point to split a clan as organisational body. or will you make 5 clans from RotM?
So IEC-TGE-orion and TGE-andromeda arent different clans atm they are teams formed
for specific maps..actually i dont need the IEC name at all i can just say we are TGE-2...IEC kept only cuz it sounds cool and liked by members.
speaking about non-CW stuff TGE was made not only for specific war - it is supposed to be a communitly of russian-speaking players in MA it has nice site,forum etc.
