That LAV sound

It is one sound that really bugs me, and it has done so since I started playing MA; that lame laser sound from the LAV when it fires. As it is now it often forces me to turn of the sounds

I therefore suggest that it be replaced with something else, anything would be an improvement.

Do you agree?

How about favorite sound? I think the best sounding unit in the game is the Triton (PL amphib). A really deep bass humming rumble when it moves, and a machinegun attack.

I find the submarine's submerge/reemerge sound when it moves a bit annoying. I don't mind the LAV laser at all.

Oeh that's one of my favorite's. Sounds very heu "real" in my ears.
I like the sound of the bots moving, they sound just like I would imagine such a thing to sound. Although for the moving, the shooting is a bit disapointing I think, just plain rocket sound, but that's what it is ofcourse.

Heck, while I'm at it, a text file that has all the stats of the units would work nicely too, for those of us who would like to experiment with some things. You know, like Civ2 let you do.

Look in the folder "Massive Assault Network 2/data/other/sounds"

Stats of units don't need to be screwed with I think.

I never listen to MAN...altho the music is very nice, esp. Antarticus. That lav noise is funny but as Bokkie says, appropriate...What I have found amusing is the way amphibians spray their target....like late-night drunk-boys.
