If you can get the September edition of the UK PC Gamer mag then you can get a Demo of MA. It seems that no-one but me and the guys at PC Gamer know about it, since when I couldn't finish the the convoy mission and tried to find some help on the net, I didn't even find a shred of evidence the demo was even public knowledge. This site doesn't even know there's a demo out!

If anyone has any info about the demo and how to beat the impossible convoy mission, then please reply to this thread.

Two hints on beating convoy mission:
1) Sea transports can survive 1 Death turret shot
2) you should not kill those 2 smallfoots - or they will be replaced by tanks and you'll start to get 2 additional damage per turn

The PC Gamer demo is only available on the DVD edition. Does anyone know if the demo will be released for download?

Are there anyways to access the world war or campaign parts of the demo?

I found a bug in the game:
In the main menu, if you access the single player menu, you can use your mouse to scroll around the shell map in the background, but when you leave that menu back to the main menu you can't scroll anymore.

I love the water shaders, they look awesome!

That Convoy Mission sure seemed a tough nut to crack because at first you think you should destroy everything that you come in contact with - dont forget if you BLOCK AND DELAY IT MAY SAVE YOU THE DAY - hey there's more than one way to crack a nut so put that sledgehammer away

yeah speed is key. it's a hard mission I still havn't attempted it more then once.
first time i destroyed every thing then they too over the island. then i tried to go as fast as possible didn't work.

def not meduim difficulty. cause i've beaten most of teh meduim ones after it.
